Welcome to The Hamlet of Armonk

Armonk is one of three hamlets in the town of North Castle, NY along the north/northwestern border of Greenwich, CT. The greater town that is North Castle was originally land owned by Siwanoy Native Americans who had built a fort in the area to stave off enemy attacks. Their fort, “North Fort” is where the local settlers who fled to the area as refugees escaping religious persecution from Rye and Long Island, derived the name North Castle from.
